Winter Wardrobe: three colours you need this season

With winter only a few days away, I bet we’re all starting to trawl through our wardrobes, panicking about having nothing to wear. “It’s all black, white and grey, and soooo last season!”, we exclaim. But fear not, I have the ticket to spicing up your winter wardrobe.

But this is the year to steer away from the monochromes and play with Earthy winter colours. There three key shades trending this season that you simply MUST own if you want to revamp your wardrobe and stay on top in the fashion stakes. What better way to celebrate the cooler months than with new hues in your closet?!

I love this classic wintery colour; it adds vibrance to your wardrobe but still gives off that warm, cosy vibe. Khaki will also look great with all your black and white accessories. For another variation this winter, you could also try emerald green.

I’m wearing: Atmos&Here ‘Steffie Ruffle Dress’ $69.95, Public Desire over the knee boots $80, Rebecca Minkoff bag from Shopbop

Earthy tones are the flavour of the winter season and this rusty orange colour is certainly one to add to your collection. It’s a mix between orange and brown and suits so many skin tones and hair colours. You can find this shade pretty much everywhere this season.

I’m wearing: Jumpsuit from $111 (great news, Tobi now does free shipping to Aus!), Sportsgirl lariat necklace

This rich shade was really popular a few years ago and has made its way back into the spotlight this year. You can choose a variety of tones, from deep purples to red-wine-hues. It reminds me of all things warm and can easily be dressed up or down.

I’m wearing: Loveshackfancy dress US$100 (my new fave designer brand, but I’ll only buy it on sale!)

What do you think of these earthy winter tones?
